■ Man Down Emergency Call

The man down emergency call functon transmts an emergency
call automatcally, after the transcever layng down n a horzontal
poston for a pre-set tme perod. (The optonal UT-113
s requred.)

After the emergency call, the transcever performs transmsson
and recepton alternately wth the followng condtons:
- Transmts the mcrophone sgnals.
- Receves the sgnal and emts audo.
When the emergency cancel code s receved, the functon s can-
celled.
IMPORTANT: Set an emergency channel ndvdually, to pro-
vde certan emergency call operaton s recommended.

■ Emergency Call

The emergency call can be performed usng the [Emergency
Single] or [Emergency Repeat] key (p. 11). The transcever wll
send an 5-tone, DTMF or MDC 1200 emergency command one
tme only or repeatedly untl recevng the control code.
The emergency call can be transmtted wthout a beep emsson
and LCD ndcaton change when the [Emergency Single (Si-
lent)] or [Emergency Repeat (Silent)] (p. 11) key s pushed.
The emergency transmsson s performed on the emergency
channel, however, when no emergency channel s specfed, the
sgnal s transmtted on the prevously selected channel.
