■ Optional battery case (BP-240)
When usng the optonal battery case, nstall 6 × AAA (LR03) sze
alkalne batteres as llustrated at rght.
q Unhook the battery cover release hook (q), and open the cover
n the drecton of the arrow (w). (Fg.1)
w Then, nstall 6 × AAA (LR03) sze alkalne batteres. (Fg.2)
• Install the alkalne batteres only.
• Be sure to observe the correct polarty.
• Do not pn the rbbon under the batteres.
e Ft the cover n the drecton of the arrow (e), then close (r).
Hook the battery cover release hook untl t makes a 'clck'
sound (t). (Fg.3)
CAUTION:
• When nstallng batteres, make sure they are all the same
brand, type and capacty. Also, do not mx new and old
batteres together.
• Keep battery contacts clean. It's a good dea to clean battery
termnals once a week.
• Never ncnerate used battery cells snce nternal battery gas
may cause them to rupture.
• Never expose a detached battery case to water. If the battery
case gets wet, be sure to wpe t dry before usng t.
NOTE: When the optonal battery case s attached, the battery
type must be selected to "Alkalne battery operaton" when
turnng the transcever ON. Ask your dealer for detals.
