Using Speech Recognition

You can use your voice to enter text using the Voice input
feature. Your device recognizes your speech and enters text
for you.
Note: To enable Voice Input on the Samsung keypad, touch
Settings
Voice input. For more information, refer to
"Keyboards and Input Methods" on page 121.

Entering Text Using Swype

Swype™ is a new way to enter text on touch screens.
Instead of touching each key, use your finger to trace over
each letter of a word. For each word, place your finger on the
first letter and glide to the subsequent letters, lifting on the
last letter.

The Android Keyboard is the default text input method, so to
use Swype, you must first change the default keyboard
setting.
