1. From a Home screen, touch
Wi-Fi.
2. Touch Menu Advanced.
The following options display:
• Network notification: Have your device alert you to new
Wireless Access Points (WAPs). Touch Network notification to
turn notifications On or Off. When enabled, a check mark
appears in the check box.
• Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: Specify when to disconnect from
Wi-Fi. Option are: Always, Only when plugged in, or Never.
• MAC address: View your device's MAC address, required
when connecting to some secured networks (not configurable).
• IP address: View your device's IP address.
3. From a Home screen, touch
Wi-Fi Add network.
4. Enter the Network SSID.
5. Touch the Security field and select a security type.

Important! Depending on the Security protocol used by the
WAP, additional network information may be
required, such as Proxy settings, IP settings, or a
Password.
Kies via Wi-Fi
Kies via Wi-Fi allows you to sync your PC wirelessly with your
tablet provided they are both on the same Wi-Fi network. You
can view and share videos, photos, music, ringtones, and
more.
1. From your PC, download the Samsung Kies application
if you don't already have it. You can find it at
www.samsung.com.
2. From your PC, launch the Samsung Kies application.
3. From your PC, connect to a Wi-Fi network.
4. From your tablet, touch
More... Kies via Wi-Fi.
5. From your tablet, connect to the same Wi-Fi network
that your PC is connected to if you have not already
done so. For more information, refer to "Scanning and
Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network" on page 139.
