Creating a Gmail Message
1. Press
from the Gmail Inbox.
2. Enter the recipients Email address in the To field.
Separate multiple recipient email addresses with a
comma.
3. Enter the subject of this message in the Subject field.
4. Tap the Compose email field and begin composing your
message.
5. Tap
to send.
Viewing a Gmail Message
From the Gmail Inbox, tap a message to view it. The
following options are available:
Composes a new email message.
Searches email messages using a text string.
Archives the selected Email.
Deletes the Email.
Attaches a label to a message (similar to placing
the message in a folder).
Displays a list of options.
Mark unread/Mark as Read: Marks the
conversations as unread or read. Once a
conversation is marked as read, it displays a
gray background. Touch Done to remove the
check mark.
Mark important/Mark not important: Changes
the importance indicator. Yellow indicates the
mail is important.
Mute: New messages added to muted
conversations bypass your inbox so that the
conversation stays archived in the All Mail
folder.
Report spam: Report the conversations as
spam, which are emails that violate the Gmail
Program Policies and/or Terms of Use.
