Navigation

Navigation is an internet-connected GPS navigation system
with voice guidance. You can type or speak your destination.
To receive better GPS signals, avoid using your device in the
following conditions:
•
inside a building or between buildings
•
in a tunnel or underground passage
•
in poor weather
•
around high-voltage or electromagnetic fields
•
in a vehicle with tinted windows
Enable GPS Satellite
1. First, you need to enable your tablet to use the GPS
satellite. From a Home screen, touch
Settings Location services.
2. Touch Use GPS satellites to enable the GPS satellite.
Launching Navigation
1. From a Home screen, touch
Navigation.
2. Read the beta warning and touch Accept to continue.
3. Touch the car icon and select Driving or Walking.
4. Select one of the following options:

• Speak destination: allows you to speak your destination.
• Type destination: allows you to use the keypad to enter your
destination.
• Contacts: displays a list of all of your contacts that have
addresses listed.
• Starred places: allows you to keep a list of favorite
destinations, locations, restaurants, etc. Just tap a starred item
to get directions.
5. After you enter the address to find, select Navigation as
the method of navigation from the Complete action
using pop-up.
Navigation Options
Press Menu to select one of the following:
• Route options: Select Avoid highways, or Avoid tolls.
• Settings: Configure power settings or view Terms, privacy
& notices.
• Help: Launches the google Mobile Help web page.
Get Driving Directions
Your tablet's built-in GPS hardware allows you to get real-
time driving directions to selected locations or
establishments based on your current location.
