6. Your tablet scans for other devices on the same Wi-Fi
network. When your PC is discovered, select it.
7. When the Wi-Fi connection request displays on your
tablet, touch Yes.
8. From the Samsung Kies screen on your PC, drag and
drop desired media to the corresponding folders on the
PC or tablet.
9. From your tablet, touch Cancel to disconnect your
tablet from your PC.

Wi-Fi Direct

Wi-Fi Direct allows device-to-device connections so you can
transfer large amounts of data over a Wi-Fi connection.
Note: See your service plan for applicable charges for Wi-Fi
Direct.
1. From a Home screen, touch
More... Wi-Fi Direct.
2. If you are currently connected to a Wi-Fi network, a
prompt displays Current network will be disconnected.
Tap OK to continue.
This turns off Wi-Fi or hotspot connections.

3. Tap Wi-Fi Direct to start scanning.
Wi-Fi devices list on the screen.
4. The other device taps Accept to connect. The other
device has two minutes to respond.
5. Repeat steps 1 - 3 on the other device you want to
connect with.
6. Once the device you want to connect to displays, tap
the device number or name.
7. Tap Menu Device name to change your Device
name.
Sharing Information with Connected Device
To share Videos, Photos, or other information with the
connected device, follow these steps:

1. Display the information to share (photo, video, or
something from the My Files folder), then touch the
Share, Share via, or Send via option.
2. Touch the Wi-Fi Direct option.
The Wi-Fi Direct settings screen displays, Wi-Fi Direct
is on and your device scans for other devices.
