• Power saving: Power Saving mode allows you to manage the
device to conserve power. For more information, refer to
"Power Saving Mode" on page 112.
• Notification: Touch to enable or disable system and application
notifications. For more information, refer to "Notifications"
on page 22. You must sweep the Quick Settings screen to the
left to show this option.
• Mobile data: Disables mobile data so you can no longer use
applications such as Internet, Email, and YouTube using a
mobile network.
• Bluetooth: Touch to turn on Bluetooth. For more information,
refer to "Bluetooth" on page 142.
• Driving mode: Touch to turn on Driving mode and activate the
Driving mode settings. For more information, refer to "Speech
Settings" on page 125. You must sweep Quick Settings
screen to the left to show this option.
• Sync: Synchronizing the device with the network. Synchronizes
contacts, email, time, and a variety of other accounts.
2. Touch Clear to remove Notification Icons from the
System Bar.
3. Touch a Notification entry to display details.
4. Touch the X in the upper, right corner of the Quick
Settings panel to close Quick Settings. Or touch outside
the Quick Settings screen.

Status Bar

The Status Bar displays icons to show network status,
battery power, and other details.
Battery Level: Shown fully charged.
Charging Indicator: Battery is charging.
Device Power Critical: Battery has only three percent
power remaining. At about 15 percent power
remaining, a popup displays to remind you to charge
immediately.
USB Charging Indicator: The device is connected to a
computer using a USB cable, but it is not charging. The
battery is only charged while connected to a computer,
if the device is turned off. When the device is off, press
the Power/Lock key to see the battery charging
indicator.
