2. Touch Owner information and then touch Show owner
info on lock screen to enable or disable the option.
3. Touch the text field and use the keyboard to enter the
text to display on the lock screen. When the screen
locks your Owner Information displays on the screen.
Encryption
To require a numeric PIN or password to decrypt your tablet
each time you power it on.
1. From the main Home screen, touch
Security.
2. Touch Encrypt device. For more information, read the
displayed help screen.
Tip: Make sure your battery is full charged. Encryption takes
an hour or more.

Set up/Change password
Use this option to set up your password when one is first
required or change your current password.
1. From the main Home screen, touch
2. Enter a new password and tap Confirm.
3. Enter the new password again and tap Confirm.

SIM Card Lock

The SIM Card Lock feature allows you to require a PIN
number to unlock your SIM card.
1. From the main Home screen, touch
Settings
2. Touch Set up SIM card lock.
3. Touch Lock SIM card.
4. Enter your SIM card PIN number.
5. Touch Change SIM PIN to change the PIN number.
6. Enter the current SIM PIN number.
7. Enter a new SIM PIN.
8. Enter the new SIM PIN again.
Make Passwords Visible
When enabled, password characters display briefly as you
touch them while entering passwords.
