• Language Options: Allows you to select the languages
available from the Swype keyboard. Touch the desired
language, then touch the language icon.

Google Voice Typing Settings

From this menu you can set Samsung keypad options.
1. From the main Home screen, touch
Language and input.
2. Tap the icon next to Google voice typing.
3. The following options are available:
• Select input languages: Touch a language that you want to
input. Select Automatic to use the local language or select a
language from the list.
• Block offensive words: Touch to create a checkmark and
block recognized offensive words from the results of your
voice-input Google searches.

Samsung Keyboard Settings

From this menu you set the Samsung keyboard options.
1. From the main Home screen, touch
Language and input.
2. Touch the icon next to Samsung keyboard. The
following options are configurable:

• Input language: Touch a language to use for input.
• XT9: Activate predictive text mode.
• XT9 advanced settings:

Word completion: Enable of disable automatic word
completion for words matching your text entries.

Word completion point: Choose the number of letters for the
system to use to predict words for automatic prediction.

Spell correction: Enable or diable automatic spell checking
and correction.

Next word prediction: When enabled, the system predicts the
next word based on common usage patterns.

Auto-substitution: When enabled, the system automatically
replaces words you enter with words from the XT9 auto-
substitution list.

Regional correction: When enabled, the system automatically
changes the spelling of words based on norms for your locale.

Recapture: When enabled, the system re-displays matching
words when you make corrections to a word inserted by the
system.

XT9 my words: Add words to your XT9 predictive text
dictionary.
