Video Input, Output, and Loop Connections

The three video connections are connected differently, depending on whether the codec is
to be configured as an encoder or a decoder.
Encoder configuration
See figure 13.

SDI Out BNC connector — This connector provides a buffered loop through of the
original source with or without an optional text overlay.

SDI In BNC connector — Connect an SDI, HD-SDI, or 3G-SDI digital video input
for encoding and streaming to one or more decoders via the LAN port (item
figure 13).

Loop BNC connector — This connector provides a buffered loop through of the
original source.
