The numbers stored inmemory donot Make sure the numbers are programmed correctly. To print a

The machine cannot receive faxes
manually.

You c annot poll a nother machine.
Check if TEL appears onthe right side ofthe display. InTEL
mode, you cannot receive afax automatically. Be sure the
handset isseated onthe cradle p roperly.
Ifthe inkislow, the fax will s top printing faxes. Replace the print
cartridge.
Ifthe fax memory isfull, t he fax will s top answering the phone.
Load p aper and print the faxes i nmemory toclear out t he
memory.
Do not h ang u pthe handset before pressing Start toreceive afax.
Check that the document isloaded face down.Send should
appear inthe display after itdials. Check ifthe machine towhich
you are sending can receive your fax.
The fax machine you arepolling may b eusing a poll c ode
(password).
The f ax you received has blank bits onit. The machine sending toyou may b efaulty. Anoisy phone line can
cause line errors. Check your machine bymaking acopy.
