Assemble, Install, Operate and Maintain Your Ceiling Fan

Tools Needed for Assembly

One stepladder
One wire stripper
One Phillips head screwdriver
Three 15-watt (max.) candelabra base bulbs (not supplied)
MATERIALS
Wiring outlet box and box connectors must be of type
required by the local code. The minimum wire would
be a 3-conductor (2-wire with ground) of the wire
size, to right:
For your convenience, check-off boxes are provided next to each step. As each step is completed, place
a check mark in the box. This will insure that all steps have been completed and will be helpful in finding
your place should you be interrupted.

1. Open styrofoam unit containing fan. Remove upper
and center sections of styrofoam unit. Remove parts
and check to see that you have received the following:
a. One Fan Motor and Housing Assembly
b. One Ceiling Cover
c. Five Fan Blades
d. Five Flange Assemblies
e. Five Flange Medallion Assemblies
f. One Hanger Ball/Downrod Assembly
g. One Hanger Bracket
h. One Upper Light Kit Assembly
i. One Lower Light Kit Assembly
j. One Light Kit Glass Shade
k. One Non-Light Switch Cover
l. One Decorative Scroll Assembly
m.One SW116 Fan/Light Wall Control
(transmitter) Includes Three Covers
n. One SW105 Receiver
o. One 50-Watt (max.) Bi-Pin Halogen
(type GY8) Bulb
p. One loose parts bag containing:
1. One 5/16-18 x 1/4" setscrew
2. One 5/32" hex wrench
3. Two 8-32 x 1-1/4" threaded studs
4. Two #8-32 knurled knobs
5. Two #8 external tooth lockwashers

experience, have your fan installed by a licensed
electrician.

8. Sixteen M5 x 12mm pan head screws
9. Eleven #10-32 x 14mm oval head screws
10. Eight #8-32 x 10mm flat head screw
11. Sixteen lockwashers
12. Three twist-on wire connectors
13. One balancing kit
NOTE: Place the parts from the loose parts bags
in small containers to keep them from being lost.
If any parts are missing, contact your local
retailer or catalog outlet for replacement before
proceeding.
