The base frame consists of a plastic moulding to which a number of assem-
blies are fitted. The same base frame is used for both the DT and the TTR
models of the EasyCoder PC4.
Note that the 203.2 dpi (8 dots/mm) and the 300 dpi (11.81 dots/mm)
printers not only have different firmware versions and printheads, but also
different types of stepper motors. Thus, modifications of printing density
are not intended.
The optional paper cutter is normally factory-fitted, but could be field-
installed by an authorized service technician (see EasyCoder PC4 Cutter,
Installation Instructions). It replaces the standard peel-off mechanism.
