Note
• For devices that have been configured in the product's hardware configuration pages, use
the hardware pin chart as a guide on how to connect the pins. For more information
about hardware configuration and the hardware pin chart, see Configure the Hardware, on
page 23.
• For information about how to connect other wires, such as power wires to locks, readers
and other devices, see the manufacturers' instructions.
5. Collect all the wires neatly and secure them using the supplied cable ties.
6. Label the cables for future reference.
7. If using Power over Ethernet, connect the network cable to the network.
8. If using Ethernet and external power (10–30 V DC), connect the network cable to the
network and connect power. Use a SELV compliant limited power source (LPS). For more
information about the power connector (DC input), see Specifications, on page 16.
