Connecting a Single Drive

1. Power OFF the computer and any peripheral devices.
2. Locate the external SCSI-2 port on the rear of the computer.

3. Attach the SCSI signal cable 1 to the SCSI connector 2 located on the rear
panel of the AIT 35 LVD drive and then to the external SCSI-2 port on the
computer.
4. Attach the terminator (not shown) to the SCSI connector 3.
5. Turn thumbscrews into place to secure the cable to the connector.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to your equipment,
do not disable the power cord grounding feature. This equipment is designed for
connection to a grounded (earthed) power outlet. The grounding plug is an
important safety feature.
6. First plug the drive AC power cord 4 into the drive and then into a grounded
AC outlet.
7. Power ON all peripheral devices.
8. Power ON the computer.
