Transition Networks CGFEB1xxx-15x series media
converters are designed to install in a PointSystem™
chassis; they connect 100Base-FX to 1000Base-SX or
1000Base-LX devices.
The CGFEB1xxx-15x has two fiber-optic ports.

Transition Networks CGFEB1x40-1xx series media
converters are designed to install in a PointSystem
chassis; they connect 100Base-FX to 1000Base SFPs.
The CGFEB1x40-170 has one 100Base-FX port and one
1000Base SFP port.
Note: Third party Multi Source Agreement (MSA) compliant Small Form Factor
Pluggables (SFPs) can be used in the CGFEB1xxx-15x and the CGFEB1x40-170
media converters.
