Slide-in-Module Media Converter
• Copper to Fiber
• 10/100/1000Base-TX to 1000Base-SX/LX
• Optional Tap Port
Transition Networks CGFEB10xx-1xx series media
converters, designed to be installed in a PointSystem™
chassis connect 10Base-TX, 100Base-TX, or 1000Base-
TX twisted-pair copper cable to 1000Base-SX or
1000Base-LX fiber cable.
The CGFEB10xx-10x has one copper port and one fiber-optic port. The distances listed
are the typical maximum cable distance. Actual distance is dependent upon the physical
characteristics of the network installation.
