Serial ATA Ports
Two SATA 3.0 Ports (I-SATA0/1), colored in white, and
eight SATA 2 Ports (I-SATA2~5, S-SATA0~3), colored
in black are located on the motherboard. I-SATA ports
are supported by the Intel PCH chip; while S-SATA
ports are supported by SCU (Storage Control Unit).
These ports provide serial-link signal connections,
which are faster than the connections of Parallel ATA.
