Horn timing adjustments
How to lock the programming mode
During installation, for the "programming mode locked" feature to take effect, the installer must
successfully remote-start the vehicle.
Programming mode can be locked through the following actions:
1.
Arm the system by pressing lock.
2.
If the system is programmed to the default passive arming, the system will automatically
lock the programming mode as soon as Starter Kill becomes active (after 60 seconds).
3.
If the system is set to active arming, the user must press the lock button to arm the system
and lock the programming mode.
How to know if the programming mode is locked
1.
If using the PRG-1000, the screen displays either "Please go to remote MENU to disarm the
tested unit" or "Communication error".
On the PRG-1000, press the "remote" button, choose "use remote" and then press
unlock on the transmitter to disarm the unit.
2.
If you are using the Hood pin switch to access the programming-mode sub-menus, the
parking lights will flash 7 times slowly, indicating that the programming-mode sub-menus are
locked.
How to unlock the programming mode
1.
Disarm the system by pressing unlock
or
2.
Reset to factory default.
