Operating the answering machine
If 2 seconds of the call have already been
recorded when you pick it up, the call will
be displayed as a new message. The key
f on the handset flashes.
You can answer the call even when it is not
signalled on the handset.
Forwarding an external call to the
answering machine
You can forward an incoming external call
to the answering machine even when it is
switched off.
Precondition: There is still room in the
answering machine memory.
An external call is signalled on the hand-
set:

Press the display key.
The answering machine starts immedi-
ately in the recording mode and answers
the call. The set time for answering the
call (page 40) is ignored.
Activating/deactivating Two-Way
Recording
You can record an external call with the
answering machine.

Inform the caller that you are recording
the call.

Open the menu.
Two Way Record
Select and press

Select a mailbox if necessary,
e.g.
Mailbox
The recording is signalled in the display by
an advisory text and placed in the answer-
ing machine list as a new message.
Press the display key to end

The max. recording time depends on the
free memory space of the answering
machine. If the memory is full you will
hear an end tone and recording is aborted.
