Uninstalling the printer driver
If it becomes necessary to delete the printer driver, for example, when you
want to reinstall the printer driver, follow the procedure below to delete the
driver.
Note
Quit all running applications that may have started when the Macintosh
computer was turned on.
For Mac OS X

Open the "Print & Fax", "Printer Setup Utility" or "Print Center" screen.

For Mac OS X 10.3/10.4/10.5, open the "Print & Fax" screen from
"System Preferences" of the "Apple" menu.

Open the "Printer Setup Utility" or "Print Center" screen located in
"Applications"-"Utilities" of "Hard Disk".

Select the name of the printer to be deleted and click the [-] button or
the [Delete] button.
The selected printer is deleted.

Close the "Print & Fax", "Printer Setup Utility" or "Printer Center"
screen.

Drag the following file, which is located in "Library"-"Printers"-"PPDs"-
"Contents"-"Resources"-"en.lproj" ("Library"-"Printers"-"PPDs"-
"Contents"-"Resources" for Mac OS X 10.5) of "Hard Disk", to the
"Trash" icon.

Delete the unnecessary files from "Library"-"Printers".

For Mac OS X 10.3/10.4, drag the "pstokm36BW-3" folder, which is
located in "Library"-"Printers"-"GENERIC"-"filter", and the following
folders, which are located in "Library"-"Printers"-"GENERIC"-"PDEs",
to the "Trash" icon.
