Operation

Over Voltage Protection (OVP)

Over Voltage Protection (OVP)
The OVP circuit allows for protection of the load in the event of a remote
programming error, incorrect voltage control adjustment, or power supply failure.
The protection circuit monitors the output and reduces the output voltage and current
to zero whenever a preset voltage limit is exceeded. A red LED on the front panel
indicates when the OVP circuit has been activated. Resetting the OVP circuit after
activation requires removal of the overvoltage condition and powering the unit OFF
and back ON or momentarily activating the remote shut down circuit. See

To set the trip level from the front panel use the following procedure:
