The fax lets you scan a fax into its memory and send it sometime
later. This lets you take advantage of lower long-distance rates at
night, for example.

Place the document face down on the automatic document feeder
(ADF), and gently insert it until it stops.

Press
FUNCTION,
then
DELAYED TRANSMISSION,
and then SET. (The
current time is displayed.)

Use the numeric buttons to enter the time at which you want to send
the fax. (Enter the time in 24-hour form:
10:00
p.m. would be
22:00,
for example).

Press SET.

Enter the destination(s) you want to send the fax to. You can do this
by:
Pressing One-Touch Speed Dialing buttons (with the
FUNCTION
lamp off).
Pressing
CODED DIAL
and entering Coded Speed Dialing codes.
(Be sure to press
COOED DIAL
between each code.)
Using the numeric buttons to enter one destination only. (Be
sure to press
SET
after entering the number.)

Note
If MEMORY FULL is displayed while the document is being scanned,
the fax cannot be sent later.
