Front Cover

Use the following procedure to remove the front cover from the system.
from yourself and your clothing by touching a nearby metal surface.
Remove the VersaBay III device and the keyboard.
1.
Close the LCD panel and turn the system over.
2.
Locate and remove the bottom screws securing the front cover.
3.
If the hard drive was already removed, remove the five screws (A).

If the hard drive has not been removed, see "Removing the Hard Drive" before

proceeding.

Turn the system over and open the LCD panel.
4.
Carefully separate and partially lift the front cover from the bottom assembly.
5.
Disconnect the VersaGlide cable from connector P8 of the main board.
6.
Disconnect the speaker assembly cable from connector P5 from the main board.
7.
Remove the front cover.
