The Power button has a 4 second power override. Hold the Power button in place for 4
or more seconds to power off the system.
In Windows 2000/98, the Power button is configured using Control Panel. From the Windows
taskbar select Start, Settings, Control Panel, Power Management, and the Advanced tab. The
following settings are available under "When I press the power button on my computer."
Standby — Press the Power button to put the system into Standby mode.

Hibernate — Press the Power button to put the system into Hibernate mode.

Shutdown — Press the Power button to shutdown (power off) the system.
