Use the »
STANDBY
– The red » STANDBY« indicator lights up in mains mode when the
device is switched off.

Adjusting the volume

Adjust the volume using the »
– Display: »VOL 00« to »VOL 60«.

Digital Sound Control

Press » DSC« several times to select the desired sound effect.
– Display: »FLAT«, »ROCK«, »POP«, »JAZZ« or »DISCO«.
Ultra Bass System

Press » UBS« on the device to switch the Ultra Bass system on and off.
– Display: briefly »UBS ON«, then »UBS«.
Headphones
1
Connect the headphones to the » PHONES« jack (ø 3.5 mm).
– This automatically switches off the loudspeakers.
Note:
Prolonged listening at loud volumes on headphones can damage your
hearing.

RADIO MODE

Antennas

For FM (VHF) stations extend the telescopic antenna and tilt and turn it to
achieve the best reception.
Note:
If the FM signal is too strong, it is advisable to push in the telescopic
antenna.
In case of poor reception:
If your FM stereo reception is impaired by interference due to
insufficient signal strength, this can sometimes be rectified by setting the
» FM« switch to » MONO«.
The »((STEREO))« light goes out and the FM station is played in MONO.

The radio has a built-in rod antenna for MW reception.
Turn the device to point the antenna.
