CD MODE
The device is suitable for music CDs displaying the logo shown here or
for CD-Rs with audio data.
Always keep the CD compartment closed to prevent dust from collecting
on the laser optics.
Do not attach adhesive labels to CDs.
Keep the surfaces of CDs clean.
Preparation

Press »
STANDBY

Select CD as the input source using the » CD« button.
– If there is no CD in the CD compartment, » NO DISC « appears in the
display.

Press »
CD
OPEN/CLOSE« on the device to open the CD
compartment.
– Display: »OPEN«.

Insert a CD in the compartment with its label facing forward.

Press »
CD
OPEN/CLOSE« on the device to close the CD compartment.
– Display: »CLOSE«, then » CD« followed by the number of tracks and
the total playing time.
CD playback

Press »
« to start playback.

– Playback begins with the first track.
– Display: » CD«, »
Note:
By pressing »DISPLAY« on the device you can switch the display from
the elapsed playing time to the remaining playing time.

To pause playback, press »

To resume playback, press »

Selecting a different track

During playback keep pressing »
or »R-SKIP« or »F-SKIP« on the remote control until the number of the
track you want to hear appears in the display.
– Playback of the selected track starts automatically.
Searching for a passage within a track

During playback press and hold down »
device or »R-SKIP« or »F-SKIP« on the remote control until you find
the passage you want to hear.
Note:
During the search the volume is reduced.
