Selecting the DAB radio input
source
1 For the best DAB reception, align the wire an-
tenna accordingly.
2 Select the DAB input source with »RADIO«.
– D isplay: » DAB « followed by the name of a
DAB station.
Selecting stored stations
1 Select the required station using the number but-
tons »1« to »0« directly.
Note:
For two-digit preset numbers, press the

number buttons briefly one after the other.

Displaying DAB station information
1 To briefly display information on the current
DAB station, press »DISPLAY« repeatedly.
– T he following information is displayed:
Information from the service provider (e.g. cur-
rent title, email address), signal strength, genre,
ensemble (e.g. BR for Bayern), the frequency
of the service provider, notes on signal interfer-

ence (»
« is displayed for optimum recep-
tion), bit rate, transmission standard, time and
date.

Setting Dynamic Range Control
(DRC) for DAB stations
When you activate Dynamic Range Control, you
can hear quiet sounds better in a loud environ-
ment.
1 Open the menu by pressing and holding down
»MENU«.
2 Select the » DRC/VAL « menu item with »E« or

»F« and press »
– Display: » DRC O «.
3 Select » DRC 1 « or » DRC 1/2 « option with »E«
or »F« and press »
4 Close the menu by pressing and holding down
»MENU«.
Note:
T he DAB station must support DRC.
