copier
The telephone lets you make and receive calls
even if the mains power is disconnected.

Making telephone calls

Dialling using the handset
When you lift the handset the display shows
HANDSET IN USE. DIAL NUMBER. When you
hear the dial tone, dial the number you want.
To end the call, replace the handset.
Preview Dialling
You can display the number you are dialling,
without picking up the handset.
Dial the number, it is shown on the display.
If you need to change the number, press the
button to delete the digits and then re-
enter the number.
Pick up the handset. The number is dialled.
Monitor Dialling
You can dial a number without lifting the
handset and hear the progress of fax and voice
calls over the loudspeaker.
Dial the number.
Press the phone button. You can hear the
call being made. If it is a voice call, simply
pick up the handset when the caller answers
and speak as normal.
Handsfree calls
You can dial a phone number and talk to your
caller without lifting the handset. Make sure the
loudspeaker is set to an audible volume. See below.
Either:
Press the
button. Display shows
HANDSFREE IN USE/DIAL NUMBER. You hear the
line tone.
Dial the number.
When your call is answered, the built in
REDIAL
microphone transmits your voice.
Or preview dial:
Dial the number.
Press the
button.
When you speak to your caller, the built in
microphone picks up your voice.
To receive a handsfree call
When the phone rings
Press the
button. You can hold your
conversation using the loudspeaker and
built-in microphone
