PANEL DESCRIPTION
■ Programmable function keys
The followng functons can be assgned to [P0], [P1], [P2], [P3],
[Red], [
Consult your Icom dealer or system operator for detals concern-
ng your transcevers programmng.
If the programmable functon names are bracketed n the followng
explanatons, the specfic key s used to actvate the functon de-
pendng on the programmng.
CH UP AND DOWN KEYS
➥ Push to select an operatng channel.
➥ Push to select a transmt code channel after pushng [TX Code
CH Select].
➥ Push to select a DTMF channel after pushng [DTMF Autodal].
➥ Push to select a scan group after pushng and holdng [Scan A
Start/Stop]/[Scan B Start/Stop].
ZONE SELECT KEY
Push ths key, then select the desred zone usng [CH Up]/[CH
Down].
What is a "zone"?—The desred channels are assgned nto a
zone accordng to the ntended use for groupng. For example,
'Staff A' and 'Staff B' are assgned nto a "Busness" zone, and
'John' and 'Cndy' are assgned nto a "Prvate" zone.
SCAN A START/STOP KEY
➥ Ths key's operaton depends on the Power ON Scan settng.
When the power ON scan function is turned OFF;
Push to start and cancel scannng operaton.
When the power ON scan function is turned ON;
Push to pause scannng, then resume scannng after a specfic
tme perod has passed.
➥ Push and hold ths key for 1 sec. to ndcate the scan group, then
select the desred scan group usng [CH Up]/[CH Down].
