DSC OPERATION
r Push [Y] or [Z] to select the desred ntershp channel,
push [ENT].
• Intershp channels are already preset nto the transcever n
preferred order.
• After pushng [ENT], Channel 70 s automatcally selected and
"READY" appears at the channel comment ndcator.

t Push [ENT] to transmt the Indvdual call.
• If Channel 70 s busy, the transcever stands by untl the chan-
nel becomes clear.
• Routne category only s avalable.

y Stands by on the ntershp channel, specfied n step r,
untl an acknowledgement s receved.
• "WAIT ACK" scrolls at the channel comment ndcator.
u When the acknowledgement s receved, "DSC" appears
and "RCV ABLE ACK" or "RCV UNABLE ACK" scrolls at
the channel comment ndcator wth beeps.
• Push [CLR] to stop the beep.
'Able to comply' is received.
'Unable to comply' is received.
i Push and hold [PTT] to communcate your message to
the respondng shp when 'Able to comply.'
• Push [CLR] to return to the operated channel (before enterng
the DSC menu) when 'Unable to comply' s receved.
