To return to the normal operation as soon as possible when a decrease in the

paper feedability is found due to the deterioration of the pick-up roller or sep-

aration roller.

Note

The removing/reinstalling methods of the pick-up roller unit and the sep-

aration roller unit are the same for all of the trays 3, 4 and 5. The expla-

nation here is made of the examples of the tray 3.

There are two types of pick-up roller unit and separation roller unit by the

materials of them. However, the procedure of them is the same.

If an optional PP-701 (Pre-Printed Paper Feeding Kit) is installed, replace

the related rollers in the same procedure as described below.

Turn OFF the sub power switch.
