10. Basic Troubleshooting
When a problem occurs with your digital press or
optional accessories, instructions appear on the UI.
Refer to the information in this chapter to help
resolve the problem.
If the digital press has a loss of power and you
cannot access the Machine Details screen to get
the serial number, open the two main front doors.
The serial number label is in the center of the
bottom frame of the digital press.
The charts on the following pages lists problems
and suggested solutions that apply to your digital
press. If the problem persists after following all
instructions, call your Xerox representative.
NOTE: If your color server indicates that the digital
press has a fault and the UI does not readily
display a message, press the Machine Status
button on the Control Panel, then touch Error Log
on the UI to display the fault history.
