The Transport Module carries the paper from the paper trays to the upper paper
path of the digital press.
Press the Power Switch to the On position to power on the digital press.
A screen message advises of a short wait while the Fuser warms up and the
digital press runs a system check.
Press the Power Switch to the Off position to power off the digital press.
Allow the digital press to remain off for a minimum of twenty seconds before
switching the power on again.
The User Interface contains two components: the Control Panel and the Touch
Screen and is used for messaging and to select settings.
Allows keypad selection of features.
Contains the Dry Ink/Toner cartridges. The cartridge colors from left to right, are
black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Refer to the Maintenance Chapter of this
manual for instructions on changing the cartridges.
Receives completed print job. Sets are offset for easy separation. Maximum
capacity is 500 sheets of 24 lb. (90 g/m
Houses the image transfer system for simplex and duplex printing. Open to
clear jams in the paper path in the Printing Module and at the Fuser. Follow the
instructions precisely for clearing a jam in the Fuser.
Contains the decurler and the inverter. The decurler removes any curl from the
printed page. The inverter is used when duplexing or face down output is
selected.
