Select a setting.
Select one of the following:
• Lo/Ro(Stereo) – A simple stereo downmix
(left-only/right-only, or Lo/Ro) is output
(suitable for playback on a two-channel
stereo system or on headphones).
• Lt/Rt – A surround-compatible downmix
(left-total/right-total, or Lt/Rt) of Dolby
multichannel sources is output, (suitable
for Dolby Surround Pro Logic or other
matrix decoding).
The L.OUT indicator lights.

Listening to an external audio
source
To listen to audio from a connected external
component on this system, choose its input
function on the remote control. Some Pioneer
products can be controlled via this remote.
STANDBY / ON

If the system isn't already on,
switch it on.
Also make sure that the external source (TV,
satellite receiver, etc.) is switched on.

Select an audio input source.
Input sources are cycled through as shown
below:
Digital 1 OPT
Digital 2 OPT
Digital 3 COAX

If necessary, start playback of the
external source.

Connecting external antennas

For an external AM antenna, use 5 to 6 meters
of vinyl-insulated wire and set up either indoors
or outdoors. Leave the loop antenna
connected.
For an external FM antenna, use a PAL
connector to hook up an external FM antenna.
