Remedy
• The radio signal is weak. Auto tuning will only detect radio stations with a good
signal. For more sensitive tuning, connect an outdoor antenna.
Remedy
• Make sure you have completely inserted the USB connector to this unit.
• Check that the memory format is FAT16 or FAT32.
• USB devices with an internal USB hub are not supported.
• The files must have the correct file extension: .mp3 for MP3 files; .wma for WMA
files; .m4a for MPEG-4 AAC files; .jpg for JPEG files (upper or lower-case is OK).
• Make sure the file permission hasn't been restricted (through a password, etc.).
• The files were recorded using DRM (digital rights management). This is not a
malfunction.
Remedy
• This unit is HDCP-compatible. Check that the components you are connecting
are also HDCP-compatible.
• Depending on the connected source component, it's possible that it will not
work with this unit (even if it is HDCP-compatible).
• If the problem still persists when connecting your HDMI component directly to
your monitor, please consult the component or monitor manual or contact the
manufacturer for support.
• Check that the HDMI Audio is set to AMP.
• If the component is a DVI device, use a separate connection for the audio.
• Check the audio output settings of the source component.
• Verify that the HDMI cable is firmly connected.
• Make sure that this unit's HDMI Control mode is set to Control On (page 67).
• Check whether the connected component supports HDMI Control or not. For
more information refer to the operating manual of your flat screen TV, DVD player,
Blu-ray disc player, etc.
• This unit does not guarantee HDMI Control-compatible components other than
those made by Pioneer.
• HDMI Control may not work properly if a SCART cable and an HDMI cable are
connected simultaneously. Set HDMI Control mode to Control Off when
connecting SCART and HDMI cables simultaneously.
• The connected TV automatically may change inputs in response to this unit
starting playback DVD or having the GUI screen (ex. Disc Navigator) displayed, etc.
If you do not want your TV to change inputs in this way, set this unit HDMI Control
mode to Control Off (page 67).
