Parameter Objects

These are vendor-specific device parameters for ASD configuration and control.
Class code 0x64 — This object provides the parameter access to the ASD.
All of the ASD parameters have an Attribute ID of 3.
The Instance ID of each parameter becomes: parameter communication number + 0x4000.

Converting a Parameter Number to an Instance ID:

Example 1.
Basic parameter F003 (Command mode selection) has a Communication Number 0x0003.
0x0003 + 0x4000 = 0x4003.
The Instance ID for F003 is 0x4003.
Example 2.
Extended parameter F268 (UP/DOWN frequency default value) has a Communication Number
0x0268.
0x0268 + 0x4000 = 0x4268.
The Instance ID for F268 is 0x4268.
Example 3.
The Monitor parameter FE03 (Output current) has Communication Number 0x3E03.
0x3E03 + 0x4000 = 0x7E03.
FE03 becomes Instance ID 7E03.
Note:

Instance ID and Parameter Values

Set F009 (Acceleration time) to 5 sec. The incremental unit is 0.1 sec./unit.
The value in F009 is:
5 sec./0.1 sec./unit = 50 = 0x0032.
The Communication Number of Acceleration Time is 0009: 0x0032 is stored in Instance ID 4009.
For details on the function of a parameter, please refer to the instruction manual for the ASD.
