Communications Parameters

The ASD (including the DEV002Z) acts as a follower device on the network. Use the parameters listed
below to set the communication options.
These settings can also be made by the use of configuration tools and the Electronic Data Sheet (EDS)
file. The EDS file can be downloaded from the Toshiba web site:
http://www.toshiba.com/ind/downloads_main.jsp.

Note:
When Communications parameters are changed either the power to the ASD must be
cycled, or F899 set to 1 and a Reset command received via the communications link,
for the changes to take effect.
Note:
When either F003 or F004 is set to Communication Input, the ASD operates without
Net Ref (Frequency Link) or Net Ctrl.
F830: Communications Option (DeviceNet/Profibus) Setting 1 — The Input/Output Instance of
DeviceNet card is set up at this parameter.
The DeviceNet card supports both the standard DeviceNet AC Drive profile Instances 20/70, 21/71 and
user-defined Instances 100/150, 101/151, and 102/152.
