MVR Group Configuration
MVR Group Configuration can be reached by clicking the hyperlink on the right upper
MVR screen.
Description
Check the box to enable MVR to allow one single multicast VLAN to be
shared among different subscriber VLANs on the network.
Enter a descriptive name (up to 32 printable ASCII characters) for
identification purposes.
Set the VLAN ID (1~4094) of the multicast VLAN.
Dynamic – the Switch sends IGMP leave and join reports to the other
multicast devices in the multicast VLAN.
Compatible – the Switch does NOT send any IGMP reports. In this
case, you have to manually configure the forwarding
settings on the multicast devices in the multicast VLAN.
A source port can send and receive multicast traffic in a multicast VLAN
A receiver port can only receive multicast traffic
If "None" is selected, no MVR multicast traffic is sent or received on this
port.
If the checkbox is selected, the port will tag the VLAN ID in all outgoing
frames transmitted.
Settings selected in this row apply to all ports.
