2.18 SNTP

Use this screen to configure the time settings on the Switch. You can configure the

Switch to get the time and date information from a time server using Simple Network

Time Protocol (SNTP). You can also configure two servers. If the first one is down, the

Switch will try to connect to the second one. User can use SNTP Request Interval to

specify how often (in hours) the Switch should synchronize with the time server. For

example, if you enter 1 hour, the Switch synchronizes date/time with the time server

every one hour.

2.19 E-mail Alarm Configuration & SYSLog Config

The Switch can send alarm notifications via e-mail to assigned e-mail addresses in case

of any abnormal events. Up to 5 e-mail addresses can be assigned.
