ARP Configuration

ARP stands for Address Resolution Protocol, a method for finding a host's link layer
(hardware) address when only its Internet Layer (IP) or some other Network Layer
address is known. If there are too many network ARP Packets, users can use storm
control to reduce the ARP traffic.
The ARP Configuration screen allows the network administrator to specify whether or
not each individual port is inspected by the Switch to ascertain its ARP status.

Description
Enable or disable ARP Inspection on this Switch.
All-VLAN – the setting can apply to all VLANs. Under this configuration,
the setting of fixed ARP Inspection VLAN will be discarded.
Fixed – the setting only apply to selected VLAN. Fixed VLANs can be
added in the next row.
Add fixed VLANs to which the settings will apply.
Settings selected in this row apply to all ports.
The Switch does not discard ARP packets on trusted ports for any
