interfaces will become deactivated until such an act is reversed by accessing the Switch

and this page via the console port.

Start by selecting 'Enable' in the 'Protection' field. Then access the first 'IP Address'

field and type in the desired IP address and then 'Enable' the field. Remember to select

'Enable' here again and remember to 'Apply' after the desired IP addresses have been

entered. A total of five IP addresses can be selected.
