Remove the needle on the left.

Right needle thread tension (Blue) 3 to 6

Needle plate setting knob S
Disengage upper knife. ( Reler to page 38 )

Place 0.6 cm (114"') wide elastic on top of the wrong side of fabric and even with the raw edge.
Serge on elastic side along the edge, stretching the elastic in trent of the needle while guiding both
edges along the guideline of the needle plate.
(_ Fold elastic to the wrong side of fabric and with a conventional sewing machine, straight stitch on the
right side of fabric through the elastic.
Be sure to stretch elastic while sewing the straight stitch.
