If the machine head is positioned horizontally, install the treadle unit to the motor.

1. Disconnect the treadle unit connector (1) inside

the control box.
2. Remove the screw (2), and then disconnect the
ground wire. After disconnecting the ground wire,
re-tighten just the screw (2).
3. Remove the screw (3), and then remove the
treadle unit.
4. Install the V cord bushing (5) to the treadle setting
plate (4).
5. Install the treadle setting plate (4) and the treadle
unit to the motor with the screw (3).
6. Install the ground wire with the screw (6).
7. Connect the treadle unit connector (1) inside the
control box.

Assemble the spool stand (1) while referring to the
spool stand instruction manual, and then install the
spool stand (1) at the left side of the work table.
