Administrator's Guide for SIP-T2xP IP Phones
The call park feature allows the user to park a call at a special extension and then
retrieve it on any other phone in the system. A user can park a call at an extension,
known as Call Park Orbit, by pressing the call park key. The current call is put on hold
and can be retrieved on another IP phone. This feature depends on support from the SIP
server.
Procedure
Call park key can be configured using the configuration files or locally.
Configuration File

The BLF call park feature allows you to monitor a specific user and pick up the parked
call of the user using the call park key. In order to use this feature, you need to assign a
call park key, and specify the number of the monitored user in the ―Value‖ filed and
apply this key to the line which enabling the BLF call park feature. The call park key will
present different status of the monitored user.
You can press the call park key to do the following:
To make a call to the monitored user.
To end the active call between the monitored user.
To forward the incoming call to the monitored user.
To blind transfer the active call to the monitored user.
To pick up the parked call of the monitored user.
To pick up the incoming call of the monitored user.
This feature is configurable on a per-account basis and depends on support from the SIP
