Replacement of the Fusing Unit
NOTE
• Immediately after turning off the printer, the area around the Fusing Unit is
extremely hot. Therefore, in order to reduce the risk of burns, wait until the unit
has cooled down before performing any operation.
A. Removal Procedure
1. Remove the Rear Cover.

2. Remove the NIC Board. (only when the option NC-501 is mounted)

3. Remove the NCU Board. (bizhub 160f/161f only)

4. Remove the PCL Board. (bizhub 161/161f only)

3. Periodical check
5. Unplug all connector on the Control-
ler/Mechanical Control Board.
NOTE
• The two connectors marked with
"*" in the illustration are provided
for bizhub 160f/161f only.
6. Remove the two screws, and then
remove the Left Rear Cover.
7. Remove the three screws, and then
remove the Circuit Board and Metal
Bracket.
