Updates are stored on ClearPass's webservice server. The ClearPass Policy Manager server periodically communicates
with the webservice to inquire about available updates. You can download and install these updates directly from
this Software Updates page using your Subscription ID. The first time the Subscription ID is saved, the ClearPass
Policy Manager contacts the webservice to download the latest Posture & Profile Data Updates and a list of
available Firmware & Patch Updates.

Description
Enter the Subscription ID provided to you in this textbox. This textbox is enabled only on publisher
node.
Click this button to save the Subscription ID entered in the textbox. This button is enabled only on
publisher node.
Performs an "undo" of any unsaved changes made in the Subscription ID field. Note that this does
not clear the textbox.
Use Import Updates to import (upload) the Posture and Profile Data into this server, if this server is
not able to reach the webservice server. The data can be downloaded from webservice server by
accessing the URL:
https://clearpass.arubanetworks.com/cppm/appupdate/cppm_apps_updates.zip
When prompted, enter the provided Subscription ID for the username and the password for
authentication.
NOTE: This button is enabled only on publisher node.
If the server is not able to reach the webservice server, click Import Updates to import the latest
