30. Shut down and restart Windows 95.
31. Click Next in the Update Device Driver Wizard window.
32. Click on Finish.
33. The Primary IDE controller is detected. When prompted to restart Windows 95, click
on No.
34. The Secondary IDE controller is detected. When prompted to restart Windows 95,
click on Yes.

To install video support

If you have installed retail Windows you need to install the video driver. The video driver
is contained in the \HP\DRIVERS\W95\VIDEO subdirectory.
You must first run SETUP.EXE in the HP\DRIVERS\W95\DirectX directory.
1. Run SETUP.EXE from the \HP\DRIVERS\W95\VIDEO directory.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the video driver.
The driver will be installed after the system reboots.
If your operating system asks you for settings, set the Resolution to 1024 x 768, and the
Color Palette to 65536 colors.
Upon successful installation, an ATI icon appears on the bottom right corner of the
taskbar.

To install audio support

If you have installed retail Windows you need to install the audio drivers. The audio
drivers are contained in the \HP\DRIVERS\W95\AUDIO subdirectory.
1. Run SETUP.EXE from the \HP\DRIVERS\W95\AUDIO directory.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the audio driver.
The driver will be installed after the system reboots.
If your Notebook came with an ESS soft modem, it will be detected and drivers will be
automatically installed.
