ALX 720
Print Offset on X – Axis ___________________________________________ XPOS
The mask zero is shifted in relation to the label edge on the X-axis, i.e. transversally to the
material.
Steps: = 0,25mm
„XP.8" = +2mm Maximum (negative) offset from label edge
„XP-8"
= - 2mm Maximum (positive) offset towards label edge
Print Offset in Y – Axis ___________________________________________ YPOS
The mask zero is shifted in relation to the punch position on the Y-axis, i.e. in feed direction.
Steps: = 0,25 mm
„YP.8"
= + 2mm Maximum (negative) offset in feed direction
„YP-8"
Feeding Speed without Print _______________________________________SSPD
The feeding speed can be increased between printing cycles, by which the total printing time
can be reduced particularly with long labels having small areas to be printed.
„SS.4" 4inches/second; same for 5- 12 inches per second
Note: For print applications requiring longer computation steps (e.g. consecutive
numbering) the feeding speed is not to be selected too high to avoid heavy slowing
down to „0" and re-acceleration to the printing speed.
When changing the print speed (PSPD) the slew speed (SSPD) will be set
automatically identical to the print speed (PSPD). If a different slew speed is
required it has to be adjusted new.
Mode of gap recognition ____________________________________________GAP
AUTO:
Default adjustment, for all materials with a difference in light transmittance of more
than 2 digits at gap and label (see description of sensor check).
MAN:
The range of automatically measured values for gap recognition may be defined
specific to a label material. This feature helps to feed correctly materials with high
contrast pre print areas which would be detected as false gaps.
areas should be measured before adjustment by means of the sensor check, the
corresponding adjustment value is identical or less than the value measured at the
effective gap.

= - 2mm Maximum (positive) offset against feed direction
